A leading Engineering firm is excited to grow their team with a Structural Engineer position! This position targets a candidate within Engineering or Architecture! Position: Structural Engineer Role Type: Direct Hire Schedule: M-F, standard working hours; must be available to work after hours/weekends and travel (if needed) Salary: Starting at $85k DOE Comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) and more! Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Focus on structural aging and buildings that are failing
  • Assessment of structural components- residential and commercial
  • Responsible for writing reports
  • Perform inspections
  • Preparing design work
  • Prepare drawings and specs for structural repairs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with building envelopes
  • Experience with structural systems
  • HAAG roofing certification
  • Experience with insurance claims
  • Experience with BlueBeam
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering- Civil, Structural, Materials Science, or related OR B.S. in Architecture
  • Engineering or Architecture license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to carry a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Ability to obtain clearances
  • Must be able to work independently or as a team
  • Must be able to multi-task
