Our client is seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronics Technician to join their team in Easton, PA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a blend of hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise, as well as a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities:

Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems of a simple nature, including identifying faulty components such as motors, fuses, heaters, limit switches, electrical motor clutches, and brakes.

Utilize basic knowledge of electrical controls and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) to diagnose and address issues.

Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical manufacturing equipment, including gear reducers, pumps, transmission clutches, and compressors.

Proficiently work with various skills such as welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, HVAC, PLC editing/troubleshooting, and industrial electricity.

Install, maintain, and repair fluid power systems and their components.

Calculate, cut threads, valve, fit weld, and install steam, pneumatic, vacuum, water, or hydraulic systems from pipe tubing to schedule 80 piping, ranging from 1/2" to 3" in size.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems.

Complete documentation and reports as necessary.
Requirements

Associate Degree in a mechanical/electrical field (preferred) or 3 years of Vocational-Technical Trade School and High School Diploma/GED (required) with a minimum of seven (7) years of mechanical manufacturing support experience in high-speed process/packaging equipment or (7) years combined mechanical manufacturing support experience and Mechanical/Electrical education.

Proficiency in at least four of the following skills: welding, machining, pipe fitting, plumbing, metal fabrication, HVAC, PLC editing/troubleshooting, industrial electricity.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems of a simple nature.

Basic knowledge of electrical controls and PLCs.

Familiarity with fluid power systems and their components.

Experience in troubleshooting and overhauling mechanical equipment.

Valid driver’s license.
